"INTERLINGUA de PEANO was also known by the name: LATINO sine FLEXIONE" or Latin without inflections, to be used as an auxiliary language between peoples of different mother tongues by many members of Academia pro Interlingua.
To avoid confusion with "INTERLINGUA de I.A.L.A." this site will refer to Peano's Interlingua as Latino sine Flexione, except in texts published before 1951, where the name Interlingua is always in reference to Peano's Interlingua. | The books "Key to Interlingua" and "Primo Libro de Interlingua", both published in 1931 are the official reference books for "Interlingua de Peano / Latino sine Flexione". These two works are copyright of their respective publishers and the use of information from such sources is done in a purely academic manner and not meant to infringe uponcopyrights of these volumes. Effort has been made in compiling this site to always give credit to respective publishers and authors of material used in quoted form.
